Pastor bob menges

Robert W. Menges

At the age of 19 Bob Menges, who wanted to go to a much-anticipated Rock Concert, went to a youth rally to please his father, which paved the way for permission to go to the concert.  That night, while on the way to destruction, his heart was changed and Jesus Christ became his Savior and his Lord.  Within 6 months he had met, Tricia, the love of his life and they were married in the fall of 1972.

After seven years of working for Sherwin-Williams where he moved from stocking shelves to managing stores, Bob took a sales position at the Pittsburgh Hearing Aid Co.  In 1987 he purchased the main office of the company and owned/managed it for 23 years.

During these years Bob and Tricia were attending CCOP, and had become an integral part of the church. In 1990 Bob accepted the position as the Church Administrator.

Since then Bob has filled different administrative and pastoral roles in the church, and currently serves Bishop Joseph as the Senior Associate Ministries Pastor.

Bob’s gifts include a servant’s heart by which he supports and encourages God’s people; a keen practical insight with the ability to make the complicated simple and the desire to see that God’s Kingdom is advanced in every sphere of life.

Bob and Tricia have two daughters, Heather and her husband, Stephen, and their sons Brenner, Sawyer and Fintan; Kristy and her husband, Michael, and their children, Julia, Olivia, Claire, Kathryn and Jude – the blessing of the Lord and joy of their lives!
